DAVID JOHNSON-RAYNER

Founding Director; Koi Alliance Ltd, Koi Sports CIC

Before forming Koi Alliance Ltd and Koi Sports CIC, with Business Partner Josh Rai, David built a successful career working as a Salesman across many different sectors, including Media, Education, and Manufacturing.


Working with SME and Blue Chip customers, David excels at growing new and existing sales-areas, establishing profitable and sustainable business growth for all his clients.

Adept at New Business Sales, Key Account Management, "New Concept" design, marketing and product launch, David is now dedicated to bringing his vast sales experience, personal skill-set, and innovative approach to achieving positive outcomes, to the benefit the great British Grassroots Sports Sector.

GIFTON NOEL-WILLIAMS

Koi Alliance Ltd; Director of Sport

Gifton started his career at Watford where he spent 7 years, during the 1998-1999 season he was the clubs top goal scorer. The London born striker was a key component in helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League in 1999.

Gifton went on to play for Stoke City, where he was their top goal scorer, Burnley, and a number of other clubs, before moving to Spain to play for Real Murcia and Elche, ending his professional career in America playing for the Austin Aztex and the DFW Tornados. 

As well as being a Koi Director, Gifton works for the PFA as a Regional Coach Educator, and is the BAME Director for the BetVictor League.

WES MORGAN

UK Grassroots Sports Ambassador, and "Power of 5" Champion for Leicester

Wes spent the majority of his career with his boyhood club Nottingham Forest FC, playing 402 matches and scoring 14 goals.


Wes was Forest's longest-serving player when he transferred to Leicester City in January 2012, and became Leicester's captain later that year, playing over 200 matches in all competitions for them, captaining them to the Championship title in 2014, and their first Premier League title two years later.


Internationally, Wes was the first Jamaican player to score in a UEFA Champions League Game.


Born and raised in England, Wes chose to represent his ancestral Jamaica at international level, making his debut for them in 2013, and was part of the team that competed in two Copa America tournaments, and finished runners-up at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

PAUL DEVLIN

"Power of 5" Ambassador (Birmingham)

Having played grassroots football for different Sunday league teams in the Birmingham area Paul then progressed on to Saturday Football with non league teams in the midlands before eventually getting his big break with Notts County aged 19 in 1992. Paul went on to make over 500 league and cup appearances, scoring over 100 goals for Notts County, Birmingham City, Sheffield Utd, Watford & Walsall. Paul also represented Scotland at senior level winning 10 caps. Paul now Coaches football to children across the midlands aged 4-14 and is also a personal trainer as well as being club ambassador for Birmingham City.

Northern Grassroots Officer at Kick It Out, a role held since July 2018 having worked in three County FA's since 2015.


Awarded "Grassroots Hero" at Buckingham Palace in 2013, and "Outstanding Contribution to Refereeing" at Wembley, by The FA. 


A Graduate of University College of Football Business (UCFB ) where he studied "Football Business & Finance" his dissertation focused on "Understanding the Decline in Adult Male Participation in Traditional 11 vs 11 Football in England". 


An avid football fan who wants to ensure that football at all levels is accessible to anyone who wants to participate, spectate, volunteer and be part of the "Football Family".
